The Woodbury Days Council named four recipients of the 2018 Greg Orth Above and Beyond Award at its volunteer appreciation picnic at Carver Lake Sept. 6. They are Lindsey Lee, Larry Morgan, Scott Peterson and Tom Priester.

This was the ninth year recipients received awards that honor the memory of Greg Orth, former Woodbury chief of police, Washington County commissioner and a member of the Woodbury Rotary Club and Woodbury Days Council. Orth, who died in 2008, is remembered as a loving and caring person who touched the lives of many.

Editor's note: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated the number years the awards have been handed out.
